LOGOS

Description

Valencia will host one of the three European operational centres for artificial intelligence in Smart Cities envisaged under the CitCom.ai project.

The city leads the Southern Superhub, focused on smart and climate-neutral cities, which includes partners from Germany, Poland and Italy.

The Southern Superhub will be complemented by the Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) of the Nordic Superhub, led by Denmark and focused on energy, and the Central Superhub, led by Belgium and focused on mobility.

CitCom.ai is a European project that aims to leverage European Union programmes focused on bringing digital technologies closer to strategic urban challenges such as climate change mitigation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

Actions

Valencia will deploy a TEF infrastructure focused on innovations that bring intelligence to local infrastructures and cross-sector urban services.

  • Pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and noise management

  • Urban development management

  • Water and wastewater management

  • Integrated facility management

  • Drone-based delivery management

  • Tourism management
