WORKING HOURS

From Monday to Friday, mandatory working hours are from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM (as per the entity’s own collective agreement). The remaining hours to complete the 37.5 weekly on-site hours will be flexible, subject to supervision by the entity’s management.

During the first three months of adaptation, requests to adhere to the Telework Protocol will not be considered.

SALARY

35.083,56€ gross per year in 12 payments.

Selection Process for an R&D&I Technician to Support the Management of the European Project CITCOM.AI.

General Job Duties:

Develop, program, research, propose, manage, inspect, advise, and, in general, perform all upper-level tasks related to the profession, specifically those involving programming and managing European R&D&I projects and calls. All duties corresponding to their professional group.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Manage the Foundation’s participation in the CITCOM.AI project: monitor technical progress, identify risks, coordinate with the project team, ensure timely and quality delivery of results, etc.
  • Define use cases related to applying Artificial Intelligence to address urban challenges associated with the smart city paradigm and climate mission.
  • Assess the project’s social impact.
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders to promote the project’s developed services.
  • Support communication tasks: content creation, material design, etc.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between the Foundation and the Project Coordinator.
  • Liaise and coordinate between the Foundation and the Valencia City Council.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the other project beneficiaries.

All these tasks must be carried out in Spanish and English.

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Hold Spanish nationality or meet the conditions described in Article 54 of Law 10/2010, of July 9, Generalitat Valenciana, regarding the organization and management of the Valencian public function.
      2. Be at least 16 years old.
      3. Accepted degrees:  
        • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, International Business, or equivalent.
        • Engineering: Industrial or Telecommunications.

     

  1. Languages: Possess a B2 or higher level certification in English.
    • Note: Language knowledge will be evaluated solely based on official certifications issued by recognized institutions such as Spanish universities adhering to the ACLES accreditation model, official language schools, or as outlined in the annex of Decree 61/2013 of May 17 by the Consell. Later amendments to this decree are also applicable.
  2. Experience: se debe poseer y acreditar la siguiente experiencia profesional:
    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management.
    • At least 1 year of professional experience in managing European projects.
  3. Must possess the physical and mental capacities required for the role.
  4. Must not be disqualified by final judgment or disciplinary dismissal from similar roles. For foreign nationals, candidates must not be disqualified or subject to disciplinary sanctions equivalent to those barring access to public employment in Spain.

    2. DOCUMENTATION ON THE PRESENTATION OF THE SECOND PHASE AND ASSESSMENT OF MERITS:

          1. Professional Experience.

          All documentation attesting to professional experience shall be submitted in accordance with the fifth clause of these terms.

          2. Training.
        1. Training and further training in new technologies and innovation. All certificates and documentation attesting to the applicant’s training and further education in accordance with the fifth clause of these terms shall be provided.

        2. Knowledge of Valencian. All certificates and documentation that prove the knowledge of the candidate’s Valencian language in accordance with the provisions of clause five of these terms shall be provided.

        3. Knowledge of English. All the qualifications, diplomas and certificates attesting to the applicant’s knowledge of English as set out in clause 5 of these terms shall be provided.

        4. Academic qualification additional to that required in the call. All diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications additional to those required in the applicant’s call for applications shall be provided in accordance with the fifth clause of these terms.

      1. PHASE 3. PRESENTATION OF A BRIEF AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW:

        The delivery of the exercise brief will be in English, in a single pdf, with a maximum of six pages (format A4, size of letter Arial 12), and shall include the provisions of Stage 5 of the selection process.

      2. Note:

        It is mandatory to submit the report at the time of registering the application. FAILURE TO SUBMIT it entails, according to Clause SIXTH.- APPLICATION SUBMISSION: “…Mandatory report for the 3rd Phase: Submission of a report and personal interview.
