STEM Talent Girl, the national program created by the ASTI Foundation to promote scientific and technological careers among girls and young women, is launching its second edition in the city thanks to the support of the València City Council through València Innovation Capital. The program aims to help reduce the gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), a field where women continue to be underrepresented due to persistent biases that still influence educational and career choices.

The program is free of charge, runs for eight months outside school hours, and is aimed at female students in the region who are studying secondary education (ESO), upper secondary education (Bachillerato), vocational education and training (VET), or university degrees. Its goal is to support participants throughout their educational journey, although students may join the program at any stage.

Applications are open until 15 October, and places are limited. To apply, students must write a motivation letter explaining why they would like to become a “Talent Girl” and submit it together with their application through www.talent-girl.com
