Artificial intelligence is already transforming the job market, and digital skills have become a key tool for improving employability and adapting to new professional environments. In this context, the City of Valencia, through Valencia Innovation Capital, and Microsoft are launching “AI Skills for Employability,” a free training program offering official certifications in artificial intelligence for the general public.
The initiative, developed in collaboration with Microsoft partner PUE Academy, is open to all residents of Valencia via iavalencia4all.es and offers the opportunity to earn an official Microsoft certification with free access to the exam—an internationally recognized credential that enhances employability in a job market that is increasingly demanding in terms of digital skills.
The program is aimed at people over the age of 16— including students, working professionals, and job seekers—who want to incorporate AI into their professional skills and enhance their digital profile. Through a 100% online format, participants will have access to introductory and specialized content on generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, and the fundamentals of artificial intelligence on Azure, as well as the opportunity to earn internationally recognized official certifications.
In addition, to access the full curriculum, participants must first complete the introductory module “Introduction to Generative AI with Microsoft Copilot” by the end of June 2026. Once they have passed this first course, participants will have one year to complete the remaining advanced modules and earn the corresponding official certifications.
