FESTIAV is the first and leading international festival dedicated to films created using artificial intelligence, based in Valencia, Spain. Launched in 2025 with the goal of becoming an international benchmark, the festival brings together creators, professionals from the audiovisual sector, and the general public to explore AI-generated cinema as a tool and a new form of artistic expression.

Agenda:

· October 26: Opening keynote by Carlos Fernández de Vigo, Goya Award-winning director and producer, on ethical AI in film. Kickoff of FESTIAV Lab, a 24-hour creative challenge in which teams of creators develop an audiovisual piece using AI.

· October 27: Presentation by Pablo Ballester (KSPMN) on generative AI in professional creative processes, followed by a roundtable discussion on ethics, deepfakes, and intellectual property with Inés de Casas (ELZABURU), Íñigo Echávarri, and Hilario Abad.

· October 28 and 29: Screenings from the Official Selection at ABC Park Cinemas and B2B meetings between creators, companies, and professionals in the technology and audiovisual sectors.

· 30 d’octubre: Ponència de JM Blay, referent en motion design i 3D, taula redona sobre el nou ecosistema audiovisual amb Tamara Llorens, Mimi Bejarano i Nadia Alonso-López, i lliurament de premis FESTIAV.
