• We have launched the first two #GovTech Challenges to find innovative technology solutions to real challenges facing the city.
• For both challenges, the deadline to submit project proposals is 24 January 2025. The winning solution will be awarded a €50,000 direct contract, while the two highest-scoring proposals after the winner will each receive a €2,500 cash award.

The Accessible Tourism challenge aims to create an interpretation centre adapted for people with disabilities, enabling them to discover the cultural and historical value of the Serranos Towers and the Quart Towers.

The centre would be installed temporarily near one of these landmarks and should make use of innovative technologies to provide the best possible visitor experience and access to the site’s heritage, overcoming the current accessibility limitations of the towers.

The Innovation Assessment challenge aims to measure and publicly showcase the current state of València’s innovation ecosystem through an online platform.

– To compile a shared set of innovation indicators, building on existing data, that can be used to measure the evolution of the ecosystem over time.
– To develop a publicly accessible online dashboard where these indicators are automatically updated and available to the entire innovation ecosystem.
