The València City Council, through València Innovation Capital, is launching a new call for grants aimed at supporting seed-stage startups, that is, projects in their early stages of development. This initiative is part of the municipal innovation strategy and seeks to foster a more innovative, inclusive, digital, and resilient València, strengthening its position as a leading technological hub in Europe.
The public incubation and acceleration programme for seed startups is designed to support high-growth-potential projects by providing funding, specialised training, mentoring, and connections with the innovation ecosystem. The programme will take place at La Harinera, a municipal space dedicated to technological entrepreneurship.
The call targets startups developing innovative solutions in strategic areas such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, health and wellbeing, gaming, innovative and sustainable tourism, Smart City and GovTech, diversity, talent and EdTech, as well as projects that combine technology and innovation to address urban and climate challenges.
Selected projects may receive up to €25,000 to cover operating expenses, provided they participate in the incubation and acceleration programme associated with the call.
