Is your startup ready to take the next step at one of the world’s leading technology, investment and innovation events, bringing together more than 70,000 attendees and almost 2,000 investors?
València Innovation Capital is launching a public call to support the participation of up to 24 startups connected to Valencia’s innovation ecosystem at its Startup Island during Web Summit Lisbon 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to showcase your solution to an international audience, connect with investors, corporations and potential partners, build new strategic relationships and increase your startup’s visibility at one of the world’s most influential events for technology, entrepreneurship and investment.
Web Summit Lisbon 2026 will take place from 9 to 12 November 2026 at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL). The opening activities will be held on 9 November, while the exhibition area will be open on 10, 11 and 12 November.
València Innovation Capital’s Startup Island will feature eight 1.5-metre exhibit pods. Each selected startup will have access to one exhibit pod for one exhibition day through a rotating schedule, allowing up to 24 startups to participate over the three exhibition days.
What does this in-kind grant include?
- The use of an exhibit pod within València Innovation Capital’s Startup Island for one exhibition day.
- Event passes corresponding to the ALPHA, BETA or GROWTH category assigned by the Web Summit organisation.
- Inclusion of the startup in the branding and visibility elements associated with València Innovation Capital’s Startup Island.
- Access to the startup profile, digital networking tools and the services provided by Web Summit for the assigned category.
The estimated maximum value of the in-kind grant is €1,100 per startup.
ALPHA, BETA or GROWTH
Validated startups will be assigned by the Web Summit organisation to one of its participation categories (ALPHA, BETA or GROWTH) according to its own criteria, primarily based on the company’s stage of development and the level of funding it has secured.
Each category includes a specific set of benefits and services, such as networking tools and, where applicable, pitching opportunities, mentoring, investor meetings, masterclasses and dedicated networking spaces. The participation category, exhibition day and exhibit pod location will be determined by the Web Summit organisation.
