València Innovation Capital has launched a call for proposals to select up to 10 startups from the Valencian innovation ecosystem that will be able to participate free of charge at the organization’s institutional booth during SportCities 2026, one of the leading events on innovation and sports, to be held on October 21 and 22, 2026, at the Valladolid Fairgrounds.

This call for applications involves the allocation of exhibition space within the València Innovation Capital institutional booth—valued at 500 euros per company—with the aim of boosting visibility, business opportunities, and connections with potential partners and investors.

Who can participate?

This call for applications is open to startups that meet the following requirements:

• Have its registered office in the municipality of Valencia or its metropolitan area.
• Have participated in the past two years in incubation, acceleration, or entrepreneurship support programs linked to the Valencian innovation ecosystem.
• Develop a solution, product, or service that has an economic, technological, social, or environmental impact on the city of Valencia.
• Work in one of these fields:
  • Digital Health and Well-Being.
  • Immersive Technologies and Video Games.
  • Urban Tech.
• Not be subject to any of the circumstances that prevent one from qualifying as a recipient of public grants.

How to Apply

Interested startups have 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call for applications in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia (September 28, 2026) to submit their applications.

Registration must be completed exclusively online using the following procedure:

1. Fill out the form provided by València Innovation Capital: SPORTCITIES October 21–22: Fill out the form
2. Fill out Appendix I (link to Appendix I)
3. Sign Annex I with a digital certificate and send it to the email address lab@lasnaves.com with the subject line “Sportcities 2026 Booth Call for Proposals”

What the Call for Applications Entails

The assistance consists of the free provision of exhibition space—valued at 500 euros per startup—within the València Innovation Capital booth at SportCities 2026. However, participating companies must cover their own travel, lodging, and meal expenses, as well as the cost of promotional materials.
