Technovation Girls Comunitat Valenciana is holding its 2024 Easter Bootcamp to provide professional mentoring and support to teams of girls aged 8 to 18 taking part in the global Technovation Girls 2024 technology entrepreneurship programme.
The bootcamp builds on the training sessions that have been taking place since January at American Space Valencia, located at the Universitat Politècnica de València, and is being held from 2 to 5 April at Las Naves. Throughout these intensive working sessions, participants will have a unique opportunity to strengthen their entrepreneurial, technological and innovation skills while refining their projects ahead of the competition.
The 2024 Easter Bootcamp offers participating teams personalised guidance from highly qualified professionals representing a wide range of industries. These experts will mentor the students as they finalise the Technovation Girls CV projects they will submit for evaluation in just four weeks’ time.
Participants will also receive specialised support in key areas such as programming, marketing strategy and business plan development—essential components for transforming innovative ideas into viable technology ventures.
María José Valero Sancho, CEO of Talent Growth Management Business and People and Regional Ambassador for Technovation Girls CV, said she is “thrilled” by the growing participation in this year’s programme, the “warm welcome” provided by American Space Valencia (UPV) and Las Naves, and, above all, “the commitment and dedication shown by university students, graduates and members of the ACM UPV Chapter, who have joined the teams as mentors, as well as the inspiration provided by families who are beginning to embrace genuine entrepreneurial ideas.”
She jokingly added that they might even consider launching a future “Technovation Senior” programme.
Technovation Girls is a global initiative that has reached more than 200,000 girls in over 100 countries.
