Challenge Objective

The PLACENET project is developing a technological solution capable of integrating and managing, in real time, the digital content, services, functionalities and communications associated with a specific public space, as well as the people and connected devices within it.

The solution is based on an intelligent platform that combines data, algorithms, blockchain and artificial intelligence to collect and analyse information in real time, generate actionable insights and support evidence-based decision-making. It will also personalise users’ experiences by adapting digital services and content to the needs of different audiences.

  • Challenge launched in October 2025.
  • Project implementation from October 2025 to February 2026.

Urban Context

The solution will be demonstrated in Orriols Park, where the platform will be tested as a smart public space designed to improve interaction between urban environments and citizens.
