Spot4Dis
An intelligent solution for optimising the management of parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility through urban data, real-time sensing and digital technologies, improving accessibility and urban mobility.
Spot4Dis
Challenge Objective
The Spot4Dis project is developing a technological solution to improve the management of parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility (PRM) by leveraging urban data and real-time sensing technologies.
The solution will provide real-time information on parking space availability, detect unauthorised occupancy, validate authorised use through the European Disability Parking Card (EU Blue Badge), and generate insights to support more efficient management of reserved parking spaces. It will also incorporate analytical tools to support data-driven mobility and accessibility policies.
