About the programme
If you are passionate about science and technology, or simply want to discover everything you are capable of achieving, STEM Talent Girl offers a learning journey designed to help you develop your skills, meet inspiring female role models and prepare for the careers of the future.
Led by València Innovation Capital, in collaboration with the ASTI Foundation, STEM Talent Girl is a free programme that encourages girls and young women to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), helping to reduce the gender gap in science and technology.
Over eight months, participants receive training, mentoring and personalised guidance while developing scientific, technological and leadership skills, supported by leading professionals from across the sector.
Who is it for
The programme is aimed at students in secondary education (ESO), upper secondary education (Bachillerato), vocational education and training (VET), and university who want to discover their potential, develop STEM skills and explore new academic and career opportunities.
TEM Talent Girl supports participants throughout every stage of their educational journey through programmes tailored to their age and level of study:
- STEM for Her, for secondary school (ESO) students.
- Science for Her, for upper secondary (Bachillerato) and VET students.
- Real Work, for university students.
No previous experience in STEM subjects is required. The programme is designed to inspire future STEM careers, nurture talent and provide participants with the tools to build their professional future.
What does the programme offer
STEM Talent Girl combines training, mentoring and hands-on experiences to introduce participants to the world of science, technology and innovation.
Participants will have access to:
- A free eight-month programme that fits around the school calendar.
- Personalised mentoring from a network of more than 500 STEM professionals.
- Inspirational talks delivered by leading women in science and technology.
- Practical workshops, company visits and experiential learning activities.
- Academic and careers guidance tailored to each stage of education.
- The opportunity to develop STEM projects with real-world applications and present them to industry professionals.
- Training in leadership, communication, critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving.
- Opportunities to connect with companies, institutions and key figures from the scientific and technological ecosystem.
Throughout the programme, participants work on projects that allow them to apply scientific knowledge to real-world challenges, strengthening both their technical expertise and their personal skills.
