About the programme
If you lead an innovative entrepreneurial project and want to grow it alongside other women entrepreneurs, The Break is the programme that will help you strengthen your venture, expand your professional network and access new international collaboration opportunities.
Led by València Innovation Capital, in collaboration with the EOI School of Industrial Organisation, The Break supports women entrepreneurs leading impact-driven projects through an intensive programme of training, mentoring and connections with Valencia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Over 14 weeks, you will develop your project at La Harinera, one of the city’s leading innovation and entrepreneurship hubs, while becoming part of a European community of more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs who have already participated in the programme.
Who is it for
The programme is aimed at women entrepreneurs leading innovative, impact-driven projects who want to accelerate the growth and consolidation of their initiatives.
It is particularly designed for entrepreneurs seeking to strengthen their leadership skills, enhance their business capabilities and connect with a national and international network of professionals, companies and innovation ecosystem stakeholders.
The Break supports projects that generate positive social, economic and environmental impact through innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
What does the programme offer
The Break combines specialised training, personalised support and international exposure to help women entrepreneurs accelerate the growth of their projects.
Participants will have access to:
- More than 100 hours of specialised training and mentoring across a range of key areas.
- A 14-week intensive acceleration programme.
- One-to-one mentoring with professionals and industry experts.
- The programme delivered at La Harinera, Valencia’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub.
- Access to a European community of more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs (Breakers).
- Networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, companies, institutions and innovation ecosystem stakeholders.
- A two-week international placement within an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the European Union to broaden knowledge, build partnerships and explore new collaboration opportunities.
- Training focused on leadership, business growth and the internationalisation of impact-driven projects.
Each edition brings together around 20 women entrepreneurs, reinforcing Valencia City Council’s commitment to female leadership, innovation and the development of a more diverse, connected and international entrepreneurial ecosystem.
